Elementary students participated in the third annual Wrapping for America’s Warriors. They wrapped donated gifts for every inpatient at the Birmingham VA Medical Center and several transition homes.
Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Jose A. Rivera, who served with the 82nd Airborne Division and was killed in action during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Veteran’s daughter disclosed that her father tended to hide his personal belongings. That’s probably why his wallet went missing and was found 17 years later by workers – inside a Biloxi VA wall.
